Spring has finally arrived! What better way to celebrate than with a beautiful, bright and happy yellow wedding?!

I love a day that starts out with Kate Spade

her La Sposa gown was soooo dreamy…..

to maximize the photo time of their day, they opted to do a first look. Josie wanted to do it at the 360 Bar on top of the Hilton – “umm, okay; that sounds amazing!” and it was

all of that yellow is so pretty!! [we lucked out and got to the Basin before aaalllll of the prom people got there. score!]

so it was a May wedding, but it was COLD. the ladies all huddled up for warmth [photos by my awesome second shooter Katy Corea]

the gorgeous reception was held at Kemoll’s Top of the Met, which was decked out in yellow for the occasion

the ladies at Kate & Company helped Josie put together some amaaaazing looking tables!

Griffin and the Gargoyles kept the party hopping all night! [LOVE. THEM.] It was such a wonderful end to a wonderful day! But….

I got caught.

Jacqui + Mark | almost parents

Jacqui & Mark are a very awesome couple whose wedding I photographed a couple of years ago. Now they’re expanding their little family, so they called me to come document them now as a family of two [well, four. their two dogs obviously count!] She’s due very soon, and I can’t wait to meet their baby!

that’s Albert on the left and Wedge on the right. They’re adorable. And hilarious. And they love to photobomb.

Poppy + Murphy

The very last session of my mini session day was one of my favorite couples, and their pups. I’ve photographed their little family several times now, the first time being Jessica & Kevin’s engagement session, with their adorable Poppy. Their family has expanded by mister Murphy, so they signed up to get a new family photo, and of course some fun photos of their ‘kids’. I love this couple, I love these dogs, and I love these photos!

[this is what happened when they tried to walk forward, slowly. Spazzy dogs pulled hard and did some crazy zigging and zagging ]

we got a good one though and I love this one!
